Upgrading & Account FAQs
Q. Can I stay a free member for life?
A. You can remain a free member for as long as you like,
there's no hard sell, no time limits or any other tricks to
get you to upgrade your account
Q. How much referral commission can I earn as a free member?
A. You can earn 10% on all member upgrades - unlike premium
members, you do not earn from your referrals account deposits
Please note that during beta testing, all members will receive 50% commission on member upgrades. This offer is only available during beta testing. We will change the commission structure back to normal when we reach a set number of members!
Q. When is my commission paid?
A. We have a 7 day holding period before referral commission is paid. This is
because we accept PayPal and we've found that we need around 7 days to catch any fraudulent payments.
Q. How much does it cost to upgrade my account?
A. Different durations cost different amounts.

Q. When can I withdraw my referral commission?
A. You can request all referral commissions earned in
the previous month between the 1st & the 10th of each
month. We process all withdrawal requests between 11th &
20th of each month Q. Can I select my withdrawal method?
A. At this time we can only allow you to withdraw in the
balance that you have. If a referral upgrades using Moneybookers,
you will receive commission in Moneybookers.
The next version of HJ will include an exchange feature where
you will be able to exchange all your ref coms into your favorite
ecurrency. It will also feature an "auto-exchange"
where you can choose your favorite ecurrency & have all
ref coms automatically exchanged into whatever ecurrency you
choose (if you really need to exchange currencies now, please
contac`t our support department & we will see what we
can do...
Please note that it is illegal to exchange PayPal, therefore

Q. How do I add a banner to be advertised?
A. You need to visit the 'Manage Ads' page in your members
area and add your banner from there (simple instructions are
included on that page).
Q. How does the fixed term banner advertising work?
A. The fixed term banner advertising allows you to bid
on one of 4 banner positions, just like you would normally
bid on a product on eBay or any other auction site. The duration
is for one week and starts at 00:01 on Sunday and finishes
at 23:59 on the following Saturday. Whoever has made the highest
bid wins that position.
Q. How much does the fixed term banner advertising cost?
A. There is no fixed cost. You are bidding against the
other advertisers so the person with the highest bid on Saturday
night wins. There is a small reserve price, and if this price
is not met, then one of our default ads will show.
Q. So I could bid just a few dollars and get prime spot
advertising?
A. Yes, as long as another person doesn't come along and
outbid you.
Q. How long does the banner advertising last?
A. The duration is for one week - 7 days.
Q. How can I renew my advertising position after one week?
A. You need to bid again and be the winner to retain your
advertising position
Q. What is the difference between 'Exact Bid' and 'Max
Bid'?
A. The Exact Bid is the exact amount you want to bid,
so if you bid $100, it would deduct $100 from your account. The
Max Bid is the maximum amount you want to bid, but just
like on eBay, the script will only bid enough to make sure you
are the winner. The script uses the following bid increments:.
$0 - $50 = $1.00 Increments
$51 - $100 = $2.00 Increments
$101 - $200 = $3.00 Increments
$201 - $300 = $4.00 Increments
$301 - $500 = $5.00 Increments
$501 - $1000 = $10.00 Increments
$1001 and up = $20.00 Increments
Example of how the Max Bid works: Currently, one of the fixed term banner spots has a bid of
$55. You enter a Max Bid of $100, but the auction only
needs another $2 for you to be the current winner. So the
bid is increased to $57. Another person comes along and bids
$70, but since you are bidding up to $100, the script will
automatically increase the bid up to $72 to ensure you still
have the winning bid. If another person bids $110, you will
have been outbid
Q. How do I know if I've been outbid?
A. When you place a bid, you can elect to have an email
sent to you if you are outbid. Q. What happens to my money if I get outbid?
A. Your money is returned to your account if you get outbid.
Q. Do you offer refunds on advertising?
A. Sorry, there are no refunds on advertising.
Q. What is CPM Banner Advertising?
A. CPM stands for Cost Per Millennium and means rotating
banner advertising. Rotating ads are shown at the top of the
page just above the tabbed menu. You can select how many
impressions you want to buy and confirm your purchase.
Q. How many other banners are rotated at the same time?
A. There are no more than 15 banners in rotation at any one
time.
Q. Can I change my banner and link half way through the
campaign?
A. Yes, unlike the majority of HYIP advertising sites,
you can change your banner at any time & as many times
as you like. Just visit the CPM Banner Advertising page in
the members area or the Manage Ads page, scroll down until you locate your banner
and your new banner from the drop down box (you will need
to have this in your members area already, simply add it through
the 'Manage ads' page).
Q. What is premium advertising?
A. Premium advertising are the text links that are shown at
the top of every single page. There are 6 boxes and each
box contains 5 links. These are highly visible ads that generate
a lot of clicks.
Q. How do I add a new premium ad to advertise?
A. You need to visit the Manage Ads page in the members area
and follow the instructions
Q. How much does premium advertising cost?
A. There is no fixed cost as the advertising works on
an auction basis. Whoever are the top 5 bidders at the end
of the week win the advertising.
Q. How long does the advertising last for?
A. The advertising duration is for one week
Q. How can I renew my advertising?
A. You need to bid on a position again and win the auction
as you can't automatically renew your advertising
Q. What is a featured HYIP advertising?
A. Featured HYIP advertising are small text boxes located
next to the fixed term banners. They enable the advertiser to
have a link and some information about the site. They get a high
click thru.
Q. How do I purchase a featured HYIP ad?
A. This works on a auction bidding basis like eBay. Whoever
has the highest bids at the end of the week wins the advertising
position.
Q. How do I add a link to be advertised on the Featured
HYIP ad space?
A. You need to visit the Manage Ads page in the members area
and follow the instructions
Q. How long does the featured HYIP ad last for?
A. The featured HYIP ad lasts for one week.

Q. What is the directory advertising?
A. Directory advertising is for our directory. There are
hundreds of links in the directory, so if you sponsor your
listing, it appears at the top of the page - thus more visible
and more likely to be visited.
Q. How does directory advertising work?
A. Directory advertising works by sponsoring a listing for a
certain amount each month. The more you pay, the higher your
listing goes.
Q. What's the minimum number of months I can sponsor a
listing for?
A. The minimum is one month
Q. How much does it cost to sponsor a listing in the
directory?
A. The minimum is $2 per month and there is no maximum
(the more you pay, the higher your listing amongst other sponsered
listings)
Q. Can I increase or decrease my bid of an existing
sponsorship?
A. Yes, you can increase or decrease your bid at any time. Q. What is newsletter advertising?
A. Newsletter advertising goes in our weekly newsletter
that is sent out to all members of HYIPJunction. We have only
limited spots and they are snapped up very quickly. You need
to be quick to grab a newsletter advertising position.
Q. How much does newsletter advertising cost?
A. This depends on the size of the member base at HYIPJunction,
please see the 'Newsletter Advertising' page in your members
area for current prices & availability
Q. What is solo email advertising?
A. Solo ads are emails that are sent out to the entire
membership daily and all they contain is your advertising
message. Only one email is sent per day and like most of the
advertising on HJ, this is done through our unique bidding
system, the highest bid at the end of each day wins the solo
ad for the following day
Q. How much does solo advertising cost?
A. There is no fixed cost as the advertising works on
an auction basis. The highest bid at the end of each day wins
the solo ad for the following day
Q. What are press releases?
A. Press releases are announcements for websites, either
news or a launch announcement. They are posted on the index
page of HYIPJunction where they get exceptionally high visibility.
They are also featured on the news page above all the other
news. Users can subscribe to the RSS feed of press releases
and get all the updates delivered directly to them.
Q. How much does a press release cost?
A. This depends on the size of the member base at HYIPJunction,
please see the 'Press Release' page in your members area for
the current price
Portfolio FAQ
Q. What does the portfolio do?
A. The portfolio is designed to help you organise and
keep track of all your investments. It can tell you at a glance
which programs are still paying, which programs are no longer
paying and most importantly...how much you've made or lost!
Q. How many programs can I add to my portfolio?
A. You can add as many programs as you want! Q. I'm in a program that isn't on the rating site, can I
still add it to my portfolio?
A. This feature is reserved for premium members only...
Premium members can add as many programs as they like that
are not listed on our ratings site, and enjoy the benefits
of a complete portfolio manager.
If you are not a premium member, you need to either upgrade
your membership or ask the program owner to list their
site on HYIPJunction (if you refer them, you earn commission
if they upgrade their account and premium members earn on
any advertising purchases).
Sharetrading FAQ
Please note that during beta testing, share trading is suspended due to several bugs that have been found. We will announce to the membership when users can start share trading
Q. I can't view or buy any shares
A. Only upgraded members can view and buy shares
Q. How much does it cost to buy shares?
A. The share price is variable and like real shares, is
consistently changing
Q. Help, I bought shares at $X and now they've fallen in
value to $Y how can I get my money back?
A. Sorry, that's the risk of trading, you can make money and
lose money.
Q. What's the minimum amount of shares I can buy?
A. The minimum number of shares you can purchase is 4 shares
Q. What's the maximum number of shares I can own?
A. You can own as many shares as are available.
Q. What's the benefit of being a shareholder in
HYIPJunction?
A. Each month we give 50% of HJ profits to the shareholders.
If the site earns $20,000 a month profit, then $10,000 goes
to the shareholders.
Q. It says I can't buy any shares, what can I do?
A. You need to wait until some shares are being sold by
another shareholder, or you can put out an offer in the forum
and someone might take you up on it.
Q. Can I sell my shares?
A. Yes, but there is an initial holding period of 60 days.
You set the price at which you want to sell the shares (which
can't be higher than a certain value of the share price). Q. Can I set an order to buy or sell shares at a certain
price?
A. Yes, we have an automatic order function that will buy
and sell shares for you when the share price hits a value
determined by you.
Rating & Monitoring Q. How do I list my program? I don't see a link anywhere!
A. You need to be a member of HYIPJunction to list a program.
Simply signup here
and login to your account and you will find the page called
'HYIP
Listing'
Q. How much does it cost to list my program?
A. There is a minimum of 2 times your minimum investment
or $20 (whichever is the greatest) but there is no maximum
fee. One way we judge admins is by how much they are prepared
to pay for a program listing. Those that are looking to run
a quick scam are not going to be prepared to pay as much as
the long-term and bigger programs. The more you pay, the higher
the confidence score your program gets.
Q. My overall rating is very low, how can I improve it?
A. You can improve your rating by several methods:
- - Have a good, sustainable payout rate
- - Have a custom script or a very beautiful cookie cutter
script
- - Have lots of information about your company and your
investments
- - Pay more for your listing
- - Get lots of good votes each day
- - Provide us with good solid DD
- - Consistent payouts over a period of months/years
Q. I keep voting each day, but the program score isn't
going up, is my vote counted?
A. We use complex algorithms to reduce the impact of voting
gangs paid by the HYIP to vote positive. One of the methods
we use is that your latest vote cancels out your previous
vote. We also take into account voting patterns, IP's, usernames
and emails.
Q. What is the ghost account?
A. The ghost account is a secret account opened by us to
check that the HYIP's really are paying the users and not just
the monitoring sites. We use dozens of different e-Gold accounts
and emails to ensure we don't leave a pattern. Q. Do you perform any due diligence on the sites listed
on the rating site?
A. No, the program listings are for informational purposes
only.
Q. Do you accept bribes from admins to rank their sites
higher?
A. We have no control over the rankings as they are ranked
mathematically. The higher their score, the higher they are
ranked. The score is worked out through many factors, admin
confidence (how much they pay for their listing) is just one
variable
Q. Can I list a program using my referral link?
A. No, if you submit a program using your referral link,
it will be removed and you will lose your listing fee.
Please note that during beta testing, we are letting all members list any site that they want(assuming it's not already listed) for just twice the minimum investment. You can use your referral link to earn all the commission!
Q. Can anyone rate a program?
A. Yes, anyone can rate a program
Q. How is my vote score worked out?
A. Your vote score is a calculation that takes into account
the number of days you have been a member, the number of forum
posts you've made, your member status, email, IP and several
other secret factors. This is combined to give you a unique
score out of 10. When you vote for a program, your score is
added to that program's accumulated vote score (if you vote
for the same program over & over, then only your last
vote is used in our calculations)
Q. What is a program's accumulated vote score?
A. The accumulated vote score is every persons vote score
added together. We have then set a certain number of points to
reach a score between one and ten. This way the votes are
represented out of ten and are less effected by voting gangs
trying to falsely boost the programs rating. Q. What does the time online score show?
A. For every month online the program earns an extra 'pip'
upto a maximum of 10 months.
Q. What's the admin confidence score?
A. The more the admin is prepared to pay for a listing, the
less likely it is that they are going to run a quick scam.
Therefore you can have a higher confidence in programs which pay
more to be listed. Q. What's the HJ Score?
A. The HJ Score is based on a number of different factors
and variables that enable us to rate programs out of ten.
The higher this score, the higher we rate the program.
Q. What does the overall score mean?
A. The overall score is an average of the seperate scoring
variables so you can quickly compare programs

Q. Who writes the news snippets?
A. We write the news snippets. We have a team of journalists
who scour the forums and blogs all through the day to post news
and updates as and when it happens. You can also become a
journalist and start posting news.

Q. I have some hot HYIP news, how do I submit it?
A. To submit HYIP news you need to be logged into your
members account. Locate the link in the members menu that says
Submit News and then fill out the form. The news will be

Q. I have an article that I want to submit to the directory,
how do I do this?
A. Login to your members area and in the members menu,
locate a link called Submit Article. Click on that link and
enter your article. Your article will be reviewed for quality
and accuracy by a member of staff and if it passes, it will
be published on the site.
